At Candler, there are mental health and well-being resources available to support you on your seminary journey. Take some time to explore what might fit your needs.
Spiritual Directory
The Office of Student Life has compiled a directory of spiritual directors, professional counselors, and retreat centers available to students.
TimelyCare App
All Emory students can find and receive medical and mental health support through this easy to use and quick access app. These services are available to students outside of Georgia, and the 24/7 service is available to Emory students anywhere in the world.
Emory’s Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)
CAPS offer many kinds of support beyond individual therapy and counseling. Their homepage also has a really helpful Q &A section and links to crisis support.
“Let’s Talk”
“Let’s Talk” is an informal, free, confidential, consultation service offered to graduate and professional students at Emory. This year, a group for Candler and the law school meets on Wednesdays from 2:00 to 4:00 pm with Dr. Romero Huffstead. “Let’s Talk” allows students to speak with a clinician and receive support for any challenge they may be experiencing.
Thriving Campus is a place where students can go to seek referrals for other, recommended therapists and counselors.
